I think this only works if your provider allow VOLTE

guys anyone got the link to download files to modify the router celcom 22d to reflash to use with any sim card?

I don't think a celcom unit will not work even if you flashed it once it got the latest FW that locks it to Celcom only sim.

Hi ... I'm new to wireless networking. I would like to ask:

May I know which Maxis band is better for me to lock it Band 3 or Band 7.

Thanks in advance.
*
you need to lock it individually on either one of the band and test it to know the results

why bother on mod or non mod unit.

nowday can just get b818 where is taiwan version b618. and its original was not lock unit can plug in any sim.
*
well those looking for modded units are to bypass the hotspot limitation for i100 or i80 packages

Is there a way to prevent the b618 modem from automatically updating its firmware? Pls pardon me if this question has been asked earlier, i just couldn’t find a definite answer. Thanks 😊

Has anyone compared the speed, performance and stability of the b618 modem to the b715 modem? Looking to pick either one up

Just login to the router and in the settings page you can turn off automatic update

What form of tinkering with the device would be recommended (if any), once my 2-year contract with unifi air ends soon (this month or next).

I'd assume (and hope) my device is unlocked.

no need to hope, just insert a sim card from other provider and if you don't get any signal or connect then you know its locked to Unifi sim only
