Yes, just use the Hmanager app and it will get the task done.
If you leave it on auto, it will sometimes connect to B3+B7 which gives you 2CA and 4G+, but sometimes drop back to normal 4G which is slower. Locking the bands, ensure you stay connected to 2CA for constant 4G+ speeds.
*
I using web ui click B3 and B7, is it will lock to 2CA same ask Hmanager? smile.gif

Can try fast.com but all these Speedtest results are just reference. So long you can use it with no issue, then it's sufficient. biggrin.gif
My speed is quite fast compared to other users but my minimum requirement is I shouldn't have any buffering when it comes to streaming.
*
Yup buffering when streaming or online gaming making crazy. laugh.gif
Seen my Streamyx get problem this 2 month, no more online gaming loh. blink.gif

I feel you Bro, but this is mobile internet and we can't expect it to be stable like fiber internet. Streaming Full HD should be fine unless 4K content. Online gaming also doesn't perform so well with the occasional lag spikes and high pings 😓
*
Need to wait TM bring Fiber Optic to my Taman loh, been told that 2020 will coverage my small town.
but will depend which location demand higher than port to there first. blink.gif

why bother 4G+ if speed so ayam..
But somehow i see the trend that unifi will capped speed after certain usage

yesterday my max speed only 4mbps

today it back ti 7.8mbps..
*
I test Unifi Air + B618 near Band 5 tower.
Download Speed can up to 20mbps, some time drop to 2mbps.
Almost at 10mbps around.

But at my home, only 0.5-2mbps, midnight can up to 5mbps. blink.gif

At least that is considered good news they will expand their fiber coverage to your taman. Some places, waited for so many years already, still nothing done. I guess it really depends on the demand of the housing area.
*
Ya that true, they really marketing which place got demand then will port fiber. No demand area, using 4G loh. blink.gif

Luckily there is 4G/LTE mobile internet as an alternative for those without access to fiber infrastructure. I am not bothered with fiber any more but more looking forward to 5G when it is launched in 2021 🤞

5G, B618 still can continue using it?
need to change 4G router again? smile.gif

Yes, the price will be cheaper upon mass adoption. Who know's by than, we would see 2nd or 3rd generation of 5G modems. Which is also the reason why I didn't get a 5G phone yet although it is already available in the market now.
*
Waiting Maxis or Digi got 5G at my area first, then just upgrade to 5G phone.
Small town no demand, dont know when can get 5G. blink.gif

When using 2CA B3+B7 4G+
Band 3 2x2mimo
Band 7 2x2mimo
or
Band 3 4x4mimo
Band 7 4x4mimo
or
Band 3+7 4x4mimo at the same time? confused.gif

It's slower during the day time due to network congestion. After midnight, less users hence why the speed boost.
*
So i try download Steam game and other and midnight, more fast abit. laugh.gif

By the way, wish to know that, is that any smartphone support 2x2 or 4x4 MIMO same as B618?
B618 4G router and phone 4x4 MIMO same function?

Usually flagship smartphones have quite good modem specs. Like the Note 10+ has enhanced 4x4 MIMO, Up to 7CA, LAA, LTE Cat.20
Up to 2.0Gbps Download / Up to 150Mbps. The MIMO functions are similar.
*
Very nice, will try search CA and MIMO smartphone next round. laugh.gif

ExpressVPN doesn't have China servers, so it won't work. It's good for US content.
*
Ya i try already, ExpressVPN really cant steaming Tencent TV. laugh.gif
So i use Malus VPN, special China Steaming app but face a problem.
I test Streamyx 8mbps with TPlink modem and Digi i150 with B618+65.

Streamyx 8mbps+TPlink modem steaming Tencent TV, every drama startup will have a advertisement around 1 minute.

Digi i150 with B618+65 steaming Tencent TV, there is no advertisement when drama start, and buffering time arond 1 minute. blink.gif

is that B618-65 filtering all those advertisement? blink.gif

No problem running it 24 hours a day, 365 days a year Bro. Just keep it covered from direct sun light since you are placing yours near the window.
*
Wahahah, so nice this unit can operate for heavy use.
I seldom 24 hours per day. laugh.gif

Wish to ask, I have a Malus VPN and SpeedCN VPN, use to watch Tencent TV and Youku TV. SpeedCN function perfect, buy Malus VPN slow like hell.
Is that Digi i150 problem or B618 blocking some VPN?
