Wokeh sum update at last. I'll be trying out the blue paint to see if it's exactly the tone of blue I want. I'm trying it out on my iPhone case 1st since it's a small item n easy to do in a short time. If all goes well then I can confirm the paint choice oredi. Also got myself the air scoop at last. Finally found the exact air scoop I've been looking for such a long time. I actually gave up n decided not to use an airscoop but I've found it at last so the original plan with side airscoop intake will go ahead. Will update with pics of the airscoop n painting of the iPhone case later.

QUOTE(gigabyte_PHD @ Oct 16 2008, 06:56 PM) Sry guys, I totally forgot to update. I did this a while back but forgot to update. Here's the blue paint I've decided to use for the case. It's jsut the right shade of blue I'm looking for. I painted my iPhone case to get a feel for the color n gloss I can achieve with it. I will accept nothing less than a perfect mirror shine gloss finish so I tried it out on sumthin small like this 1st. Here's the result n I'm totally satisfied with it. Check out that mirror shine! Perfect reflection of my table lamp. I will proceed with the case painting only in December I reckon. This month n November not free as I will be away in Shanghai for 2-3 weeks. The current weather is just insane n I cant paint anything now anyway. I've got a TJ07 that needs painting right now n I can't even proceed with that due to the crazy monsoon rains everyday. |
