 Any review on Shell Helix HX7 5W-30?, Or other recommended semi synth EO?

hi guys, are anyone here using this semi synth Shell Helix HX7 5W-30 and how is the review?
The price is around Rm80 and looking to change for my suzuki swift Y2007.

It has ACEA A3B4 and some VW/MB approvals.

wkc5657 did 7400 km OCI .

IMHO, OCI should be good for 10,000 km if not more.

Reputable brand oil. ok la. Econ type of oil... so dont expect power. Very good in cleaning. I suggest 7000 km can change if possible. if not 10k km also can. I think Petronas is better... or Korean Oils

why not fully synthetic oil, shell helix ultra 5w40 at rm89-99.
usually promo at tesco. sure original

prefer thinner which manual recommended 5w-30.

Shell formulated this hx7 5w30 to be on the thick side of the 30weight oil, almost at par with light 40weight oil.

so if you are seeking fuel economy out of this oil, you will be dissapointed. you wont find ilsac gf5 approval due to the viscosity.

however, its acea a3/b4 rating (despite being 5w30) means you can afford a longer service interval due to the stout tbn value.

using this on my old 22yrs old kancil. suits it very well due to the thicker viscosity. changed only once a year coz doing very low mileage.

Using this oil as standard for Mazda service in Malaysia - neutral view, and sc recommend to change every 10K, I am not so sure, but will change ard 7K...looking to change to fully synthetic for next service
