Used to switch off my phone every night but have received conflicting information on which is better for the phone. Some say its better never to switch off phone, while some says to do it several times a year or once a day. Am wondering what's the best for the phone to last longest (want the phone to last as many years as possible)

there's no need to switch off ur phone every night..
just dont use ur phone until 0% battery or charge until 100%
best would be charge ur phone when it reach low 40% and charge until 90%

No need to switch off the phone.
Just dont let your phone battery below 20% every time.

Thanks. I actually prefer to switch my phone off at night but I am afraid that it will make my phone last not as long. Guess I should have added this line earlier. So, is it ok if I off my phone at night without making my phone worse off?

I believe it will probably depends on what type of battery your phone have.
On the other hand, why not put in on flight mode instead?

QUOTE(faizfizy39 @ Apr 13 2019, 10:04 AM) I believe it will probably depends on what type of battery your phone have. On the other hand, why not put in on flight mode instead? Battery 4000mAh. Currently I off my data at night. I actually prefer to off the phone but am currently leaving it on (but internet off) because some have recommended better not to off the phone as switching on and off the phone daily/often is not healthy for the phone This post has been edited by abcn1n: Apr 13 2019, 07:16 PM

If u sleep with a WiFi router in the same room, it is far worse than having 3 phones in the same room.
