hey guys.. i bought the A800S from 6.6 sales.. and found out that the parking mode is only activated after it detected impact.. so i went and find another alternative (DDPAI Mola N3).

Can anyone comment on these 2? Which 1 better? My concern is that it must have the parking mode.. as my car got banged before parking perfectly in the box sleep.gif

DDPai is all mostly timelapse parking mode. 70mai is impact parking mode only.

DDPai Mola N3 is using a supercapacitor while 70mai A800S is using a lithium-ion battery. Also, Mola N3 is front cam only while A800S is front and rear cam. Both will need to separately buy the hardwire kit. But you need to check their voltage cutoff at what voltage to prevent car battery drain.

If parking mode is a priority, better invest in Thinkware dashcam as world-famous for its buffered parking mode which will record 10s before and after motion/impact detected. Thinkware can set the voltage to cutoff at.

checked the price for Thinkware for dual channel.. 2k+ eh @@ way out of budget haha! the 1 thing i feel stupid about 70mai parking mode is the record after... lol

I'm using 70mai dashcam lite & dashcam pro plus+ in my cars.

Under parking surveillance mode, I notice it will activate when it detects motion in close proximity of the car.

It will record to a duration that we set for each activation.
*
yea, that is what I gathered also from my research.. record 2 mins i think.. btw.. do you really need the hardwire kit to go into parking mode? or no need?

Now all need to use hardwire kit to use parking mode. New firmware already changes it from the previous no need hardwire kit to use the parking mode to now need to use hardwire kit.
*
Yea, just received the dashcam and tried it out.. need to have hardwire kit for sure.

Korean dashcams are on the premium side.

The F200 Pro less than rm1.4k as it is entry level. Those above rm2k+ are the higher range.

Sicurez is the distributor in Malaysia.

way out of budget xD i think i will just stay with A800S haha!

Try knocking hard on the windscreen to activate the parking mode.

Have you got annoyed yet with the voice ADAS laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

knocking on the windscreen can trigger, but the rest of the places not so sensitive.. haha

the lane departure is kinda annoying.. but can turn off that 1.. the rest... still ok for now tongue.gif but might turn off the alert for car ahead

For parking mode, which model is more reliable yea? Went to sicurez, they recommended Thinkware F200 pro. Any other brand should I be considering?

Thinkware is world known for the buffered parking mode. Can look at FineVu is on budget.

Blackvue also can consider. These are Korean dashcams.

China dashcam's parking mode is either "bang then start recording" parking mode or time-lapse parking mode. Viofo also now no more buffered parking mode but motion/impact parking mode.
*
Thinkware is around 1199 now, with 12 mths 0% installment available.. Which is still ok i guess? 1080p should be more than enough right?

FineVu macam out of stock already at Sicurez. That day the seller introduce Thinkware only.

Blackvue is way over budget 🤣🤣 too exp adi

Actually, nowadays 1080p is a minimum while 2K and 4K are becoming the standard.

Maybe asked and see if they still have FineVu or not. The GX300 is good as the front is 2K and the rear is 1080p. The GX30 is the same as the F200Pro.
*
Ya man, thinking about gx300.. Gotta read more review first. So far see that thinkware quite popular.. While finevu like so so

Thinkware is world famous for it's parking mode.

FineVu cause they don't do many ads and promotions so they are lesser known but their parking mode is almost like Thinkware.
*
Ahh no wonder.. For you, which 1 would you go for though?

I'm using Thinkware U1000 and F800 Pro in my wife's car. The GX300 is good.
*
Wahh.. the high end stuff shocking.gif the reason why you recommended GX300 is it because of it having the Quad HD, when comparing to F200 pro?

Asked some other sellers as well, mostly recommended thinkware f200 pro, reason being "refined and stable".. few of them actually say "if bang adi and cannot record, it is 0k anyway.." rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

Hi all sifus,

I’m considering to install front and rear dashcam. I been following this thread but still need your advice.
Budget around 1k +/-
I have used DDPAI MiniONE, Mola N3 and Z40.
Thinking whether want to try other brands (Korean) since the Koreans are better in buffered parking but still require power bank (don’t plan to install this atm)
Was aiming for either these three models: DDPAI Z50, Thinkware F200 Pro, FineVu GX30/GX300.
Can advice?

Appreciate it & Thanks in advance for your advice.
*
U can hardwire, no need use powerbank also can. Gx300 got 2K for front camera. F200 pro and gx30 just 1080p. Ultimately, still comes down to the video quality.. You can check them on YouTube or Sicurez shop.
