On another note. A500s & also A800s comes with built in GPS module for positioning & also ADAS function.

For my case, my driving route is recorded, however I couldn't see the driving route map in the 70mai app.

I have been considering putting in a CPL (Circular Polarising Lens) filter for my dashcam. It's not a cheap accessory, but I'm more concerned with the possible reduction of light in my recordings, especially at night.

Anyone using CPL have any comments or experiences to share?

ive been looking at Vecaro android player and their 360 camera (need to upgrade to 1080p cam for better pic) can record as dashcam... any good ah? in the vid below macam too fisheye, i wonder if its gonna be of any use.

Does anyone have a solution for this issue? Can’t calibrate, can’t connect to app (wifi is off), can’t hard reset, can’t access settings.

It’s a 70mai A500S. From googling, I’ve tried downloading different firmware, put it into the SD card but still the same. Formatting the SD card also no change.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Anyone tried to connect the dashcam power source to say a 10,000 mAh powerbank, which in turn connect to USB port or 12V stocket ?

This way the 12V / USB port can charge the powerbank, which can in turn support the surveillance mode in the car cam ?

When to know it's time to change the battery? Since it is always connected to the usb power outlet
