i have tried the suggestion, still can't hang it...
i think is time for a new suction cup or new dashcam
i tried to find suitable bracket suction cup for my old eken h9r
if still can't find,it's time for new dashcam~

I'm looking 70mai 1S Rm 120 On Shopee,but i saw FB Ads shows rm 150 two camera(front&rear)it's that good?

Didn't yr Eken come with a black plastic frame accessory that has a 1/4" screw mount? If u still have that accessory, just buy a new suction cup mount that has a 1/4" screw.

Can I use others brand hardwire kit to Viofo A129? Any recommendation Korean or reliable hardwire kit that compatible with Viofo?

Just left 2 days my car using Viofo A120 Pro with parking mode + Viofo hardwire. My car battery drain to 0....can't start.
*
It's recommended to use back Viofo's HK3 for A129 and A119 v3.

Korean hardwire kit doesn't have the batt protection in the hardwire kit as it is built-in inside the dashcam itself like Thinkware. But not all Korean hardwire kit is the same also.

Did you set the voltage cutoff on the HK3 hardwire kit? Set parking mode for 24 hours only and 12.4v cut off..

There is another option which is to add a battery pack like the DAD50 but not cheap. At least your car battery won't be flat in a few days.

As @blurjoey reply above.
You can visit Sicurez at Sunway as they carry both Thinkware and Viofo.
Their workmanship is excellent and they will answer all your query that you have about their dashcam.

If parking mode is important, can't go wrong with Thinkware.
For around your budget, I think you can consider Thinkware F200, X700 or maybe F770 (if it's on sale)

Sicurez - Thinkware

Thanks bro. Contacted them for the price . 🙌

As long as the suction cup mount has a 1/4" screw, it'll work. It doesn't have to be a suction mount manufactured specifically for your eken, in the same way a camera tripod doesn't have to be manufactured specifically for a nikon or olympus.

With that having been said, am moving along now....

Your eken h9r size is same as GoPro hero4? If yes, plenty of it for hero4. Just find hero4 accessories if your eken is same size.

Last time I have it eken h9r. I use suction cup with 1/4 screw if not mistaken or else using it with body frame.

After reading so many reviews and looking up so many dash cams, I settled on Thinkware U1000 with an external battery.
I had initially decided on F770 but it was out of stock and I didn't want to come back later. It would be sufficient for me since my car has a lot of 'assist' softwares already.

Now I am getting beeps from both the car and the dash cam, which is not too bad. The volume can be turned down.
But what is rather disappointing is the motion detection message tells me that someone is close to the car, but I can't see him/her since the camera is for front and rear only. So if some creep scratches my car doors or bangs the side while opening their door, there is no record. What is needed is a 4 channel unit. My reviews say 360 cameras do not give good images. So I have to wait.
But I am happy with the audio, it catches voices outside. The hotspot is difficult to connect, wifi is easier. I am glad for buying the external battery, no flat car battery worries.

Ok, this is impressive. Like really one step ahead from the rest liao.

4 CH,200GB SD card and above would be ideal for the recordings!

I am only willing to wait for a few months only. 😁. I can add a two channel unit to monitor left and right sides? A cheap one is ok because incidents need to come close. 720 should be ok, I think.

Advancement in supercapacitor technology:
https://newatlas.com/energy/supercapacitor-...y-breakthrough/

This sounds exciting and may result in cheaper supercaps with higher energy storage for dashcams etc

They're ok. Like the digital rearview mirror. But don't like the front camera angle.
