Just curious, since the government want ppl who do e-hailing to get PSV, can this PSV be used for independent work? Can this e-hailing driver then advertise his service freely?
Can e-hailing car work independently once got PSV?

E-hailing must book through apps/platform |

Whereas this e-hailing psv seems not too bad with yearly rm800. |

Taxi - commercial vehicleUnless u can find apps which rider able to select driver, until now there is no such feature by any current e-hailing company. |

QUOTE(Hidan @ Apr 8 2019, 10:33 AM) That's what i thought also. I mean since can get PSV I guess it's fair play. This would also prevent frustration from being tied up with the current e-hailing companies as well. You can do that, but that's the very definition of "Kereta Sapu" therefore illegal It's hard for authorities to enforce. They are not going to setup sting operation just to catch ehailing operators fetching customer that's not related to any ehailing company. There are current drivers that offer such "PM tepi" or "side hustle" service. But hard to catch doesn't mean it's legal Only taxi can do "street hailing", meaning, getting a customer from any random street within their jurisdiction. Ehailing PSV specifically has wording that says, ehailing drivers can only get customer through app. Ehailing insurance also will specify/define ehailing passenger as someone who got into your car through ehailing app. If really so unlucky, you fetch a "side hustle" customer, then get into accident, pandai pandai la say you are fetching friend, not a customer. Make sure whoever you are fetching understand that as well. Insurance claim will then be the personal car insurance, not the ehailing add-on. If somehow it was made clear that passenger is your customer that you didn't get through ehailing app, then insurance will not cover all parties involve lol |

The car you buy for yourself is a private vehicle. You are not legally allowed to use it for any commercial purposes.2. This includes transport of goods/tools of your business. Recently there was news of someone kena saman for transporting ladder to/from business place. 3. E-hailing is business activity. Private vehicle insurance doesn’t cover any accident that happens during business activity. Because your car is a private car, not a business car. 4. E-hailing add-on insurance specifically covers this. It’s to protect you and your passenger during e-hailing trip in your private vehicle. 5. The upcoming regulation requires you to change your car status to “private ehailing”. It is not a commercial title. Only companies can own commercial vehicles. |

E-Hailing. You are endorsed by the E-Hailing companies. Hence the purpose of EVP (E-Hailing Vehicle Permit) . You are not under taxi driver permit.
Cara Memohon Grab EVP (E-Hailing Vehicle Permit) Anda. Borang Permohonan EVP bit.ly/grabmy_evpbit.ly/grabmy_evp Subsidi dari Grab: RM20 dari Medical JPJ RM50 dari Kursus PSV RM70 dari Pemerikasaan Puspakom(Jika Ada) This post has been edited by GrabAlpha: May 13 2019, 05:27 PM |
