i bought a dibea d18. saw some reviews saying its better than the equivalent dyson. bought for rm300+. very happy with it. the best vaccuum i have so far but im still keeping my electrolux because there are still some things that the electrolux does better than the dibea.

actually was reading at UK reviews of dyson cordless vacuum last year. many commented the battery degrading quite badly after around 2-3 years of usage. the cost of changing the battery should be the price of a dibea vacuum if i remember correctly.

I'm using the Dyson Cordless V6
been using it for 4 years now this is what I can say

1. Spare parts is plenty including 3rd party/ OEM/ not ori parts just to save some $$$
2. I have replace battery 2x (not original...) it still work like new
3. DURABILITY!!! it will not break it is strong
4. It suck!!! it suck better than my HUGE Panasonic vac...
5. I can clean my 1300sqft apartment in 30min or less vs old Pana Vac took me 1hr....

Worth every penny cause quality... china got knockoff but no parts also die cause when battery expired you throw the whole vacuum away

I wonder why people want such a powerful vacuum cleaner for.
What is the purpose of a vacuum? To suck up dust.
So if a cheaper vacuum does the job just fine, why go for a super powerful vacuum that costs so much more.
A total waste of energy and electricity.

Different... if it suck strong you only need 1 pass instead of moving the vacuum front and back and front just to make sure the floor is clean...

True also.
But cheaper vacuums also have sufficient suction power to get the job done easily.
Cheaper as in cheaper than Dyson. Not those really cheap and weak vacuums.
I feel Dyson is just too overpriced and providing excess power that is not really required for home use.
For commercial use, of course different story.
Dyson is just a tool for a rich man to increase his bragging rights...

It is expensive for DYSON

but once you use it you will know why other vacuum cannot even compare

1. I use 3 big vacuum before none can challenge
2. I also use electrolux cordless but the battery die and suction is weak for cordless

Dyson is portable but it suck like those huge vacuum and I save alot of time using it... like every time I vacuum I save minimum 30min per session...
also I can bring down to my car park to vacuum my car interior... also can use to suck dustmite from bed with attachment...

now I use it for 4 years liow and i already sold all my old vac away

if it can suck coins and small rocks (sediments), then it is good already.. If not, while vacuum, you got to picked those coins/rocks manually with your hand or sweeper ....

Mm...yup, for those who have used it will probably be able to feel the difference.
For me, I am currently using a Philips cyclone model which is sufficient for my requirement.
BTW, you must have a really huge house. I can finish vacuuming one level of my house within 10 mins with this Philips vacuum. biggrin.gif

Serious bo... If can tahan more then 5 year then I consider to buy liao.. No need 10...

yes. 10 years of dust inside never compromise the suction power. cyclone invented by dyson. no other can come close to them so far
