Anyone has peeled off that pre-installed screen sticker and whether there is any improvement on screen quality by doing so?
*
I kept my pre-installed screen protector on, as I have yet to install the T-Max tempered glass. Also I notice this morning that the sides of the phone (chrome edges) have some what like clear protective stickers as well. Are we supposed to remove these or are they placed for a specific reason?

can protect from scratches, why want to remove?
*
True as that was exactly what I had in mind. Some how the ones surrounding the sim tray seems scuffed a little, although not noticeable at all since I am using the dark shade Ringke fusion case. I suppose it's just my OCD'ness 😅

the only annoying is the stickers trap dust around the edges mad.gif have to wash it daily

That is so true, Bro. Fortunate that Samsung's IP68 rating is top notch 😅

s10 fingerprint is on par with my old note 4  sweat.gif
is the photo&video originally from the s10+ or you moved it from another phone? if it is from another phone i think its normal for the first several days.
i removed the side stickers after i noticed that some part didnt stick well
*
I am also disappointed with S10's ultrasonic finger print reader considering that Samsung has rolled out OTA update to improve it. Apparently the finger print sensor is a little off the middle of the area where we place our finger. Face palm!

I took the initiative and removed it all earlier this evening since mine was starting to tear a little.

Samsung using new cpu for note 10, a 7nm instead of 8nm 9820 like s10
Now what is the price? brows.gif

Sounds like the Note 10+ is the "to get" device which comes at a very premium price. Most likely estimate for the device would be in the RM5xxx range. Not worth upgrading coming from a S10+ user.

personally, if im being nitpicking, the speaker on this phone really good for my media consumption(this is because coming from s7e), my next upgrade would be s12/jump to ios(been holding myself to justify to spend that much)  laugh.gif

my peers/close colleague use flagship devices, hence we got together we like to compare/talk about current or new finding etc/play around.. i think from there it help our gang to minimize the urges to upgrade every year..

now saving to buy sony a6000 + pair with prime lens, to satisfy my sudden urge like to take picture/video in wide angle from abusing s10+ wide angle.. good stuff
*
I couldn't agree more. The speakers are are really great (if not the best) I have experienced from a smartphone. Not to mention, coupled with Dolby Atmos really rocks but also drains the battery.

Have fun with the A6000 but also do share some nice pictures taken with your S10+.

The Samsung S10+ original case can buy at Samsung store?
*
So far I have not seen it on display at a retail Samsung Store. You can try Shopee or Lazada.

Thanks bro.

I tried searching shopee and lazada.. all said cant use for samsung s8 and above as Samsung prohibits the usage of it.

Sigh...
*
Yeah luckily he shared the post and it was mentioned in the descriptions of Shopee/Lazada, otherwise would have my money burnt for nothing.

july update is released

might be awhile before we receive it, probably near to end of Aug. Hope I'm wrong

Thanks for the heads up. Based on the July Update changelog, it states that : "Wi-Fi stability improved, Camera stability improved, Bluetooth stability improved, device security improved"

Hopefully some improvements to the camera settings for the night shots. Btw does anyone here use Gcam with their S10? Am planning to set it up on my phone.

Installed yesterday evening, seems more snappier & battery saving than ASF3.

More like engine tuning than anything else.
*
Battery saving is always welcomed. Can I ask, how much SOT were you getting on ASF3? Thanks in advance.

Too early to tell. Need monitor few days to finalize.

However, I got around 3h30m SOT with 50% left on ASG8. On ASF3, around 2h30m with 50% left daily.

Also, standby time battery usage seems improved as well.
*
3h SOT is what I am getting on ASF3 with 50% left. Based on your results, quite an improvement on ASG8. Will update and monitor before sharing.

Tried before.
I'd suggest you to skip it and use the S10's built in cam.
Much better. Gcam is kinda problematic in terms on stability for exynos devices.
Quality wise,i'd say both are pretty on par especially S10's updated night mode.
I dont see any reason for S10 users to install gcam on their device.
Cheers!
*
Thank you very much for the sound advice. Saved me me the time and agony of toying with the GCam without yielding positive results. Btw, do you use HDR10+ for your shots? Cheers Bro!

Camera improved a lot especially in Night mode. And day time, color boost up so much / saturated like the old sammy phones. In fact, it's much more saturated than P30 which i found abit .. meh..

Sample pictures of daylight and night time where i used night mode in low nights

Very beautiful day and night shots Bro. Glad to hear positive feedbacks for a change vs the P30. Thank you for sharing.

agree with what the others had said

the camera and night mode itself had been improved a lot since the last few updates. no point to use Gcam since its gonna be unstable. unless you absolutely hate samsung camera ui
*
Cheers for the second opinion. I have no issues with the stock camera UI, in fact quite like it. TGIF!!!

wifi stability is needed. On ASF3, I have super weird wifi not reconnecting all the time.

In any case I only ever used 3 wifi networks until today, and it still does not recognize them from time to time.
*
Indeed, welcome the wifi stability with open arms. I am also occasionally facing the same issues as you are. Reliefed that they included a fix for it.

Conclusion  - its on par if not better than Pixel, but compared to P30 Pro it depends whether you like over bright night shots
*
Based on the reviews and comments, I am gladly delighted with my decision to get the S10+. Was actually worried before purchasing due to the initial bad reviews and complaints.

I have tried that procedure but still facing the same problem

Try registering multiple sets of finger prints for the same finger. I saved 4 sets of prints just for my right thumb. It helped improve the unlock accuracy and also speed.
