Work in hospital is ok, stabil and can see many patient everyday. Just not the type of job i like lor    and in hospital, Dr always is the king o. Other rehab specialist wan to fight to same status need alot of effort and understanding of ur upper management and department, such as how many support they can gv to ur audiology part, especially budget and audiologist "power"

Prefer sales and marketing tat can run around. Tats is fews growing hearing aids company local, such like best hearing and oticonm

there is currently 3 local U is provide audiology degree course in malaysia: UKM, UIA and USM. i would said the best and the toughest is UKM.

1st year: mainly study anaotomy, physiology and some basic knowledge of speech sciences field
2nd year: mainly study into ear disease, hearing problems, sounds physics and some minor touch up on audiology field knowledge
3rd year: u be expose to practical under group and supervisors, will be send to different hospital training. study more n more into diagnosing part, and little touh up on case management part
4th year: u be assignt to complete final year project and presentations. oso pratical at diffrent hosiptal include ukm clinic

Yea, but for first year course only, of coz basic bio related knowledge is needed to understand the new knowledge u learn for this 4 years course.

Basic salary here: rm2700-3200 for fresh grad
Increment: 3-10% depend on ur employers
Incentive: some provide some said not ethical to provide even satu kupang    then all masuk company own pocket 
Job oppurtunities: Not bad but restricted to few choices. Singapore always need alot of audiologist work for their country, sgd 2700-3200 for fresh grad too.
Job nature:

1) office job type: see patients, diagnose them, do ur part for case management, deal v company politics and bla bla
2) salesman type: go out to get sales and do PR for company, approach private/goverment sector or even Dr clinics so tat they "song" to get stock frm ur company. do after sales services part too.
3) hybrid type: (1) + (2)
4) product trainer
5) lecturer

Do remember always need passionate and willing to learn new knowledge everyday even after u graduate to help more ppl    good luck to u!

I would say when u study audiology, those thing u learn at form 6, secondary school, especially math n chemistry can throw aside d.
Not relate at all. Bio oso abit oli, physic cn say abit bit oso. Lol

Try avoid biomedical field. Salary low, promoted chances less, less chances expose to foreign workfield, work
Load alot, owez need to stand behind the field due to no contact to patient.

End up many of my friends with this degree rather work as insurances agent, salesman, medical products sales rep and etc job not relate at all. Main reason is salary too low. Oli Some further study few more years to be lecturers.

I do think if u interest in medical field, choose those professional cn contact v patients. U get more status and pay when u work next time. Good luck
