Cognitive Science is the study of how the brain learns things. Like how the brain learns a new language, or how kids learn to ride a bike, how come people get addicted to smoking, etc...Studies on Cognitive Sciences normally lead to either research on child learning, artificial intelligence, habit breaking, neuro-linguistic programming, study of language structures and and others.

You should check out the modules in the course. Should include lots of psychology modules and language modules.

Lots of jobs in developed countries, like counselor, or AI engineer, or disabled people learning assistance research, etc. Check the modules in the university and do try to meet up with one of the university staff to get them to explain it to you.

Cognitive Sciences as this is a branch in Psychology which is a branch in Arts.
