The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 9 Probe 7, Over and Out

You can clearly see, how Nicholas Cage's Knowing (2009), get it's broadstroke storyline from this episode of Twilight Zone.

At least, that is my take away from this episode.

The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 10 The 7th Is Made Up of Phantoms

I found this episode... dry.

If you are in the american infantry, and you are out o a war games, with a tank, what would you do, if you find yourself at General Custer's last stand?

The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 11 A Short Drink from a Certain Fountain

If you want to dish it out, you better be able to take it too.

Yes, a iteration of fountain of youth.

The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 12 Ninety Years Without Slumbering

Now, this is the Twilight Zone I like and remember.

It keeps you guessing the ending

Ed Wynn (who plays Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins(1964])is in this, and he is great!

And the moral of this one is you should NOT be fatalistic. Your fate is in your hand

Nuff Said

The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 13 Ring-A-Ding Girl

A small town girl makes it big in Hollywood, is called back home... by her ring?

Again, one of the episode that is the definition of Twilight Zone for me.

The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 14 You Drive

I wonder... Was Stephen King inspired to write Christine (1983) by this episode of Twilight Zone?

Do you believe in Karma. This episode does.

The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 15 The Long Morrow

Can you love someone, go on a long trip 40 years later, still love the same people. even though they have changed, appearance wise.

This episode tries to answer that

And how isolation can effect people (the irony?)

The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 16 The Self-Improvement of Salvadore Ross

Can money buy you everything?

What about immortality?

The beauty of this series is how they are able to introduce very complex idea using very simple story telling

I like this episode alot.

I did not see the ending coming.

And if you think about it, there is an "icky" factor to this episode...

I am doing the original series Season 5

Will review that episode when I get to is.

I tried to watch an episode of the 80s series and found myself not enjoying that as much...

The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) Season 5 Episode 17 Number 12 Looks Just Like You

Imagine that. In 1964, the foresaw the plastic surgery obsession we are going thru now.

Is beauty skin deep.

If everyone wants to be perfect, will everyone just... look like everyone?

Tune in to find out
