Thanks for your explanation. I think it's worth if extend warranty to 7 years or 200k km.
How much additional charges if extend warranty? @chyap99
*
when I bought the car it only offer 3 years warranty, and the next year TC start giving 7 years warranty for new buyer..So I have to pay additional 3.5k to extend after my warranty expired.

Please take note year 6 and 7 is only cover engine, transmission and steering system and not like standard warranty which cover other small part also.

For new buyer, you may check with your SA, maybe you don't have to pay extra and the 7years warranty is included in the package.

2.0. I can do in average 12 - 15km/l though its not comparable to God cars. Its quite decent for me.

15km/L is very good for 2.0

My accord 2.0 best is 13km/L. But rarely hit. Topkek.

Indeed cannot fight god car, but god car lightweight one. No shiok la cruise highway.

I'm thinking 2.0L MID after discount 134k ....
Heard that they've improved the gearbox.
Not sure how true is it...

This is the latest version with face lift.
Any suggestions?

Comparing with x70
Just seems like extra 2 more seats.

Please advise .....

Xtrail is good but you need to be very lucky.

The gearbox is a pain because the new facelift model still carry on using it which i hate it so much. My neighborhood's xtrail broken down 5 times and yes 5 times due to the gearbox problem. He eventually sold it and change to x70

My first choice was xtrail. But even now x70 is still the best suv comparing with xtrail , crv , cx5 and tiguan

But i never like proton aftersales so i eventually bought a different segment vehicle

No but Confirm during final replacement
He thought the new facelift is using a new gearbox but when the SC replace gearbox and He notice the part numbers are the same including FL models. Because it says for which models and what year

Asked the parts officer and confirmed that they are using the same. The gearbox problem is pretty much viral everywhere including some topics in this lowyat forum too

Don't get me wrong. I love xtrail but nissan Malaysia refuse to rectify it

For those owners who drove two years and more without a single problem. Don't sell your xtrail and enjoy it

If you ask me personally, santa fe is totally another segment higher compare to this. Santa Fe is consider as bigger segment-D SUV comparable to Toyota Harrier, Fortuner, Nissan Murano, Subaru Ascent, etc..
