QUOTE(yourgadget @ Jun 20 2007, 09:06 PM) u only delete which some with SONY brand....how about other brand?i think i hav to return all the sony memory card to that supplier...and ask him proof me the Original......Memory!!! no point i keep the MSPD this is because Imitation SONY MSPD is well-known and abundant for quite long time in the market. it is not difficult to differentiate imitation and ori MSPD (esp. from picture and pricing). as a seller you should know better before hand.

QUOTE(sunauto @ Jun 21 2007, 01:16 AM) I find it a little biased to target on fake memory cards alone. In actual fact, fake, or so called compatible handphone batteries, accessories are also illegal but they're sold freely here. Besides that, refill printer inks, football jerseys (not the actual one of course) are illegal too. The manufacturer holds the IP for their own products and consumables. I feel that it's probably time to have a review on all items sold here. RBR has mentioned last time that if it is illegal offline, it is illegal online so the items I mentioned above are definitely illegal, you can always call the KPDN hotline and ask them. it is not that we target only fake memory card, but because imitation MSPD has been a big issue here since last time and it is easily distinguished out from original MSPD. a lot of members can easily find out if the MSPD sold is original or imitation, and report the topic. and hence the action taken. because imitation MSPD has established history / cases / guidelines etc, it is easier to go against it, rather than 'a little biased towards' them. if you found that some item sold in here are fake/imitation, feel free to report it and action will be taken. the mod team is not meant to look into every topic. and we are glad that most 'action to be taken' thread came from user report.
