Hi fellow lyn members, please share your thoughts about this “ new ” noise reduction technology in current tyre industry, is that any stock available in our market now?
According to those tyres manufacturers claim that implementation of foam kind materials could absorb noise and vibration when moving, this may give more refined driving experience.
Manufacturers with noise reducing tires and their name for the technology are as follows:-

Michelin, Acoustic Technology

have in the market for some time.seen the continental tyres have.cant remember whether it is the passat cc or the passat.one is using the conti seal type which have the glue thing.another use the foam type.

Autoseal is for sealing up small punctures only nothing to do with sound dampening. Ya it’s the glue thing inside

essentially is just sticking some high quality grade of dense foam/sponge into the tyre walls to create sound dampening.

Nothing fancy. if you able to get those material, you even can DIY for your myvi 14" tyre

i mention one is using the seal type,another using the foam type which this foam type function as sound dampening.both different models

Hi bro, do you know which dealer selling this kind tyres? Did research and found those tyres mostly come oem with cbu car, seems hard to buy new in malaysia market.

You may try buying the foam from MR.DIY and diy yourself

yes usually found in cbu cars.but u can try ask at continental dealers.so far only seen continental tyres have.and only for certain size.
