Does anyone know if Maxis Business Fibre comes with Dynamic Public IP ? Thank you.

afaik business accounts comes with fixed ip

No the normal business plan comes with Dynamic IP and for fixed IP need to pay additional RM200. What i want to know if the Dynamic IP is Public or Private? For Unifi business I know it is Dynamic Public IP.

I should have be more concise. Below is the Maxis plan that I am referring to.

For the Business Fibre (and all internet packages in general), it will come with dynamic public IP(s). Usually you need to pay more for fixed IP's; like you mentioned, for Maxis it's RM 200 per month. My company is using fixed IP's as well.

Private IP's are; well, private, you allocate them in your internal LAN.

yes, maxis fibre business comes with Public dynamic IP.



you can check by going into your router,

username: administrator
password: serial Number

and check your PPPOE account.

for public IP, you will see that your pppoe username = xxxx @public.maxis.com.my


for private IP, you will see that your pppoe username = xxxxx@home.maxis.com.my
