Just go ahead to change it, no choice since your screen broken.
Huawei part replacement are quite reasonable. You know you will be getting the original quality screen. They change the whole screen including the LCD & digitizer as well as the spare part come as a set.
I replace my Mate 9 screen before, the new battery was replaced as well with no extra cost.

Have anyone experience that their phone battery drain faster after update to EMUI 10.1?
My Mate 20X battery drain very fast since after the update, need to charge 2 to 3x /day. Further checking, the systemui are constant running and draining the battery and causing slow down in my phone as well (settongs and rotation shortcut not responding at all on and off).
I fed up after 1 month and downgraded back to 10.0 instead (everything are reset 😭😭😭) , everything back to normal. Now in dilemma whether to try to update emui 10.1 again. I'm afraid the same problem arising again forcing me to downgrade back to emui 10.0 for good, restore the data in all the apps just take take too long time, which i really not really want to do it again.

Update my phone to EMUI 10.1 again after factory reset everything. Battery life is normal now.
But restoring all apps data was pain in the ass and time consuming.

What price you expect for Curved screen with AMOLED? I'm sure other brand will be simply over RM1k+++.

Want a cheaper repair cost, better a flat screen phone with IPS LCD screen.
Iphone normal screen change will just cost your more than Rm1.5k or 2k for normal flat LCD screen.

Put on a good phone cover & tempered glass sp on your screen can help you avoid the pain of burning your money for repair. And avoid curved screen as well.

Yes, big flat screen for gaming is nice.
Cost me 600+ to change the screen including labour.
(They did change the battery and the sub-components as well - all in 1 set)
