QUOTE(latte36 @ Mar 29 2019, 07:21 AM) Whats the problem? I am in a video call. I put my phone facing me on table. While on the video call then screen dims and locks. You could have off "run in background". Click App, battery usage detail, check Run in background is on.Screen off = no video If still not work, backup all all chat and media, uninstall and reinstall. |

QUOTE(arava @ Mar 31 2019, 12:43 AM) To me yes. I am very rough guy, put my phone at table, floor, pocket, anywhere. It is always good to have better protection on camera. Once glass protector scratch, i can change new one. The only bad thing is it will collect a lot of dust around the edges.![]() This post has been edited by shauyan: Mar 31 2019, 09:41 AM |

Frankly speaking, Huawei have better battery management than Samsung.
I am coming from Note 8. Maybe it is due to android oreo and pie. But to me it is super important as i need a phone which can last me more than 1 day (with casual usage and BT always connected to my watch) |

Could be other apps that causing thisAnd I can't close or "back" when this ads shows up for few seconds...Comes with this ads also show clock and some wisdom words...Quite annoying...And I have no idea how to remove such thing...And I can't screen shot it as well. |

QUOTE(ppfoong @ Apr 15 2019, 09:45 PM) My friend bought the 2549 unsealed. The box is rewrapped tightly with plastic wrapper. The phone is Malaysia set as checked with SIRIM website on its IMEI. Why would the seller take the effort to rewrap tightly with plastic after they open up your phone? The warranty period started before you make the purchase (one or two days earlier), how do the seller know the next day you will purchase it? If you try to register the phone, Huawei website will say already registered under another account. So, you decide this is acceptable or not. I think seller can register the warranty without open up the phone. They should have all the SN and IMEI with them without open the phone. |

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 16 2019, 08:58 AM) Yeah the sticker on the box should have that info. Unless there is some kind of incentive for them when they power up the phone and register via an app or online? Yes. I asked one the online seller for Samsung. He said they sell so cheap because they want to register the phone and claim the incentive from Samsung. But i just dont how they do that and why they will need to open up the phoneThis post has been edited by shauyan: Apr 16 2019, 09:02 AM |

If you are worrying on the hot temp and not using the phone, use normal 2A charger to charge it. It will take 2hours to fully charge but safe to your battery. Electrical fundamental, higher current input will create more heat energy.

Samsung Flagship (S series and Note) will have 2 major OS update, after 2 major update, very very rare update. Means after 2 years, not much update. Not sure about Huawei since just migrated to Mate 20

QUOTE(josh5671 @ May 11 2019, 11:36 AM) LOL. I support price drop. It's a good thing, mean competition between brand. Haha.. I like this this one.. But there still people complaint price drop. I can't brain why they so focus on price drop. If care the money, should invest into something more profit. Not phone. Phone is not investment. If u like it, just buy. Who care about second hand value |

QUOTE(josh5671 @ May 11 2019, 12:34 PM) Yea. Some people, and just some people have that mind set. Only HW manufacturer and use it. I think it is difficult for others to adopt. Micro sd already mature and very cheap. But 3999 phone and hope it keep price for half year.. That not how the market work. You paid for first user/ early bird price. Price down liao later kondem sini, kondem situ. Btw : nm card still super high price leh... |
