My RM300 voucher expires today. Was hoping for some flash sale on Huawei's site to get the M20P or M20X cheaper but looks like I'll have to let the voucher burn. Better deals on Shopee

QUOTE(Landmarkyap @ Apr 15 2019, 03:33 PM) Yes, Huawei emui will optimise all the running apps/background of it Nice, I think they've improved it somewhat. I remember still getting 7-8% drain previously on my P20 Pro even on ultra power saving. So far battery standby very good Can choose 3 type of mode as performance/power saving/ultra power saving From the graph i posted till 3.30pm battery empty n now charging |

QUOTE(shauyan @ Apr 16 2019, 08:41 AM) Why would the seller take the effort to rewrap tightly with plastic after they open up your phone? Yeah the sticker on the box should have that info. Unless there is some kind of incentive for them when they power up the phone and register via an app or online?I think seller can register the warranty without open up the phone. They should have all the SN and IMEI with them without open the phone. |

QUOTE(shauyan @ Apr 16 2019, 09:01 AM) Yes. I asked one the online seller for Samsung. He said they sell so cheap because they want to register the phone and claim the incentive from Samsung. But i just dont how they do that and why they will need to open up the phone Yeah, I remember buying Samsung phones from Qoo10 previously as well, they were all opened and resealed. |

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Apr 16 2019, 11:22 AM) Why uncomfortable? You afraid they will put a used unit in? Ya, Apple’s warranty is activated when the device is powered up for the first time and can be easily checked online. That’s as seamless as it gets Not sure how Huawei works. But for Samsung, they need to register it by opening connecting the phone to the internet. Why they can't let the user do it (like Apple), I am not sure. Yup. For such a new model (pre order time), I don't think one will get a used unit. |

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Apr 16 2019, 12:18 PM) I just asked Samsung shop. It's Samsung's SOP to do so, probably to activate the warranty on the same date as the receipt date. Otherwise the shop will be penalized by Samsung Msia. :x Interesting. Colleague of mine ordered the M20X from Huawei online and it arrived sealed though Not sure if this is the same for Huawei. |

QUOTE(Dexter @ Apr 17 2019, 04:10 PM) Do you mean this site? It was a campaign in March, basically they asked you to check in daily to collect points and with 28 points you get a RM300 voucher. The campaign is over though but if you look around in Shopee you can see similar deals or even better ones, if you don’t mind unsealed sets.https://shop.huawei.com/my/ I just try login and go check voucher section. It's empty. What I need to do in order to get this cash voucher? Login everyday? |

QUOTE(Justice195 @ Apr 18 2019, 07:36 AM) Called both Digi and Huawei already Is it really that crucial though? For me 4G is fast enough Digi said tower repair. Ask me use OOKLA speed test app to test, but the result show around 10Mbps for both upload & download speed. Is it low? Huawei still investigate, said will get back to me. Asked me to reset networks setting etc. Still 4G |

QUOTE(jhleo1 @ Apr 18 2019, 10:38 AM) My speedtest result:- My sentiments exactly 4G around 15mbps to 20 mbps 4G+ around 25 mbps not even close to 30 mbps. Compare to Singapore 4G test..... even above 100mbps easily. Malaysia want to get 5G in next two years. Come on..... 4G so lousy..... how to expect to get good 5G? |

QUOTE(nike89 @ Apr 21 2019, 09:42 AM) how to tell its a sealed or unsealed unit? I think you can tell by the quality of the shrink wrap if it’s been unsealed and resealed again. If the phone is OK and the warranty period matches your purchase date, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.mine is supposed to be unsealed unit but the plasric wrap all nicely covered.
