The Mate 20 Pro is IP-68 rated, so technically it should be splash proof. If the problem still persists, you should bring it to a service centre to check.

Are you sure about the P30 screen? I compared my S10 with P30.. hardly can see the difference on normal usage viewing distance.

Just realized that Mate 20X have 5G version.
But our country just start implementing the infrastructure and coverage is rather limited at this moment.

S10 suppose have better screen vs p30 right? I just compare both p30 vs p30pro.. p30 100% brightness = p30 pro 80% brightness

anyone got problem with the notification on mate 20 pro? or is it all android phone like that? only can receive notification from social apps etc but my 2 games are not showing notification properly like energy full and event etc, games I m playing now is Marvel Strike force & AC Rebellion

notification will only show when open the apps (duh whats the point?)

Edit: is it that I have to leave my apps on background to receive the notification?

Go to setting --> Battery option --> Battery Usage/ Launch

There's an option to check each app able to run in background for automatically or manually. Try and see if it help

Allschools app having the same problem too, now i set it to manually mode, see how it work now.

already set to manual for all, but only sometimes got notify, most of the time no.....

and when restart phone, all the notification gone..... anyway to undo this?


EDIT: mate 20 pro are a very good phone, but to be honest the notification on android really sux, I ask my brother this morning for the notification stuff, he say he didnt receive any notification for game before (he now using MI black shark 2, previously using vivo max 3 or something) iphone can show every notification possible when enable, like arena defense lose, energy full, event start or something etc etc, I wont mind the little battery waste if I wan those notification, because its impossible I keep playing my games

how to turn off notification when playing games?

when playing pubg i always ended up opening whatsapp while shooting at enemies.

does any1 face fingerprint scan delay? its seems i had press bit hard to get my M20p unlock.

There should be an app call App assistant in Mate 20, similar like P20 one which name as Game Suite.
Allow you playing game uninterrupted and any mis-touch

try re-scanning your fingerprint. I dont have any issue on unlocking using fp

try restart phone, but i do need to press a bit for the finger unlock, so face unlock is faster, got 1 time my m20p hangs at face unlock, restart then ok already

Do u have any kind of screen protection? Tempered glass sometimes affect the sensitivity

There have a lot tempered glass for m20p without affect fp sensitivity.
