I'm using Mate 20 and I'm on EMUI 9.1.0. I didn't want to update to EMUI 10 because I've read that it removes Google services and play store. Is this true?

I noticed under 9.1 that the app launch management is very aggressive. In particular Chrome almost always gets shut down a few seconds after I switch apps. Particularly annoying when I'm doing banking or typing out long posts and they get wiped out after I switch back to Chrome. I don't see any setting to disable the Chrome app management.

Any ideas to fix this?

I am using Mate 20 with EMUI 10, still got Google, so no worries just update it

It's been 2 years but this phone's camera still surprises me

Hands actually itchy to change (previously I usually will change within 1 year, max I had a phone was 2 years, Nokia Ngage years ago)

Been searching around for one with better camera, headphone jack, good battery, fast charging, still can't find one that fulfills all.

If only Huawei still had GMS, I would get Mate 30/40 in a blink of an eye.

Hi guys... I work on my phone a lot and usually I'm switching between apps alot.
My issue is now that each time when I switch apps the apps restart so it becomes quite annoying... Is there a setting for this so when I switch apps the app doesn't restart?

App restart...to my understanding it the app setting itself and not due to phone setting, any examples?

OK I'm on Google drive and Im on Game A app..

Got some stats I want copy to Google drive frm game A... So I'm manually keying the data to gdrive right..

But if let's say I'm a bit too long on gdrive writing... When I switch back to game A.. Game A restart and thus the data I want to copy goes back to like start screen so I gotta click back to they data screen .

I think it could b a setting frm device...

I was all gung-ho to "upgrade" my 2-year-old Mate 20x earlier this year and looking at a number of new flagships. Then the PM announced 5G only in 2023, so taking 5G out of my consideration.
Then I looked around again, and without 5G as a factor, I didn't see any of the new phones presenting any compelling reason to replace my Mate 20x.
So how ar?
