own m20p for 3 weeks, i'm from oneplus 5T, there are something i would like to share

- the fingerprint unlock is really slow and most of the time take more than 1 time attempt.
- the google calender widget dint show some of my events until i refresh it for few times.
- miss the doubletap to wake up phone feature
- drag on the screen wont bring down the notification bar
- the banner notification even after disable for some apps but it still showing. argggh

Yup , Pixel is quite expensive due to those importer that brings it in also want to earn profit, nevertheless Pixel is for those who want pure Android experience. As for those top brand, their hardware spec is much better than Pixel. Each of the company have their own advantages and disadvantages.

In the end, it is up to us as a consumer to buy the phone that we feel suits own needs and requirement

I considered myself mid sized hand too but meh.. m20x really huge for my hand with almost bezerless screen and fingerprint placement at back.
Glad to hear you got yourself used to huge phone. m20x with pen really great option than note series.

for face recognition, I'm never really use the feature on my previous phones before, so this good to know it's there.

Im mate20pro user. Previously try using finger print but..when i try using face recognition , it make my life better.then i disable fingerprint after realize how easy friendly the face recognition. the face recognition can set more than 1 profile..is it same with other mate series? My wife nova2i can only use 1 face recognition profile

From my experience, the finger print works fine, most of the time, if it fails, its due to either the type of Tempered Glass used, or the the FP scan is not accurate. In many cases, when the FP scan is redone correctly, thereafter it works fine.

The other thing is hw you place your finger on the screen for it to scan. As I said, i have tested many times with my friends, who had sinilar complaints, after re-scanning and testing, it works fine.

As for the speed, ya, it time it takes about once second, but most of the time, its lesser than that.

yayy, received the Mate 20, and the gift. The phone looks great and wife love it and it is delivered on her birthday exactly. Play around and updated the software, everthing work like a charm.

Told my wife, this is the phone for your next 5-6 years, like the old Note 3

I'm not sure on their updates on the recent ONEPLUS models but my previous model, which is the 1st ONEPLUS is regular. Anyway my next phone will most likely be from ONE PLUS
