Anyone tried the Stranglehold demo yet? I'm still downloading

My PS3 is having problems lately.. Sometimes it shows a black screen if I try to play a game (demo, PSN, disc) and also BD.. I have to force-restart it using the power button

The PS3 box rolled in the van when I was moving home 2-3 days ago

or maybe it is related to 1.92

Now PS2 games do not work anymore on my PS3

Now I know why I can't play PS2 games yesterday
The system will not proceed to boot PS2 games until I pressed the PS button on the controller after it changed into PS2 mode. I just noticed the LED on the controller is turned off but the screen goes blank. However there isnt any instruction to "press the PS button" on the screen like last time.. Sorry

I have JP console with UK Resistance and I can play online
