my advice to OP is to follow the doctor's post surgery instructions, make sure you bite down on that gauze for required time and for god's sake don't use straws to drink your water unless you want to get dry socket which I heard was one of the most painful conditions next to pregnancy contractions.

I had both my wisdom teeth on my lower jaw removed because they were impacted with the 2nd molars, and they were at an angle so the dentist had to surgically remove them. took like 1-2 hours for that surgery, also found it funny that in the US most people who go through wisdom tooth surgery will go under general anesthesia, but I was never given that option lmao they just numbed me up and did the thing.

i did it in a dental clinic @ kepong, below RM1k including xray and minor filling for some of my teeth.
government waiting list up to two month, cant bare the pain.

macam mahal. maybe you have different conditions.

If Gov. If you in pain you will be prioritized. Or given painkiller with antibiotic first.
Plus it's cheaper.
