while selling flagship at highest price, commonly non PRO version will reduce a little compare to PRO.
so that:
1) they able to push their flagship sales to higher level since price is not much diff.
2) if consumer bought the lower spec, they have higher profit.

she use Apple stuff sure got her own reason. i mean probably in her mindset, Apple security is better? ease usage for her? or the best excuse, to use Apple product and compare to own product as for improvement.

i once heard rumours in automotive industry, T brand bought H brand car and then tear it all down just to study why H brand can do better than their own.

Are you sure you can see the difference with naked eye? If P30 screen lose to Note 9, then vs S10 will be even bigger gap.

Actually I also noticed the S10 AMOLED is not as straining when compared side by side to the P20 Pro I had. It's not about the brightness because I matched their brightness and the was clearer when both are dimmed at dark environment. I think it could be due to the blue color wavelength. I'm not sure.
