Ok now I'm contemplating to get this instead of S10.
For those that used with stock/AOSP Android, how's EMUI?

edit: preorder in NZ gets Huawei Watch GT
RRP NZD1499 for pro 256gb, 1099 non pro 128gb

Surprisingly that's higher than NZ price, I'm getting mine through telco and that's extra NZD400 savings there. NZD1099 and sell the watch for NZD300, pretty good deal biggrin.gif

Just tested the demo sets. P30 actually feels better on my hand but I'm going for the Pro model anyway tongue.gif

Bigger battery and wireless charging is good to have.

ps/ I'm at NZ, they announced it a week earlier

I don't think it will sell out in Ipoh so soon bro. The free gift is weak. No resale value unlike S10 series. It's not like we go snorkeling every day.
The photographer struggled with the zoom lens composition. Yes he might want to show the zoom ability but it's just not attractive.

Even myself, I am not comfortable with high zoom lens, except for sports (P30 pro can't track focus that fast) and portrait (90mm for DSLR). In that case, no need for 5x zoom.

The following gallery is much better. And most of the shots are not using the zoom lens.

Well most of us are not really pro photographers and most shots will look like that at the end

TOLD YOU GUYS laugh.gif

will never be able to achieve those superb quality if you just "point and shoot" laugh.gif

while some die die defend

at the end of the day, its clear but still have blurry elements around the photo nod.gif

and that is so normal without being super still or with a tripod nod.gif

while i do agree, most are very nicely taken photos nod.gif

Main gripe with the cam is the overly sharpen photo, hopefully can tune this or at least raw file is good

Damn dilemma now...P30 or S10 sad.gif both celcom offering the same monthly payment

S10 for consistent photo/video quality and headphone jack.
P30 Pro for bigger battery and creep mode

then EMUI vs OneUI, pick one that suits you

If I have to pick again, I will go for normal P30.
Slightly higher PPI, 3.5 jack, and flat screen!

Guys, is there a way to turn on AOD only when there's a notification.
Kinda distracted by the phone easily with AOD turned on all the time

No, Huawei AOD very limited features..but anyhow, i dont see any significant battery drain from it..

More of a distraction rather than battery concern.
Prefer to have use AOD as notification alert only, will explore Tasker options
