What you meant by skipped ver161? Latest version usually cover up all previously bugs as well.

You can't read like that. Latest version already cover up previous bugs for sure. Latest version always show the latest version update list. It won't show previously update listing. You expect all phone company going to list down all previous update one by one from day one till version 168?

Ok..... if this 161 version on hold or skip due to compatibility issues, Huawei may patch it in following version after 168 version. No need to worry. I think huawei will solve it ASAP.

Change log will be same apply to all even skipped. By the way how you get version 161? I need to go back to check my wife phone camera version.

Just insert your sim card in it. Huawei able to detect your phone IMEI. Warranty will start from day one of your usage.

I bit mixed up my statement with my mediapad here. Paiseh....
Actually once your phone/mediapad but huawei will able to detect your unit IMEI. To update firmware, you need to insert simcard which happened to my mediapad previously. If not insert simcard, despite how many times you click update, it won't show up the new firmware. Huawei own OS also build in Android version. You can't install any non-android app.
