I use to visit this place 7-8 years ago , didn't realise then Batu Nia ada so many pretty stars but then again , no smart phone in those days  can shoot the galaxy stars this way.
Will reminisce those days ,among others , eating steam soong hok fish and gulping down bird's nest soup ,at affordable price back then. friendly people a plenty at Nia too.

How soft or not loud compare to your Samsung S8

After using the P30 for few days. I feel it's a good purchase at 2699. Was comparing 6T, Mate 20 Pro and this. Can't justify myself spending more than 3k for a phone.

Pros:
Camera is great for point and shoot.
8gb ram and Kirin 980 makes the UI smooth.
Good battery life considering I game a lot.
Display size and ergonomic feels just nice for me.

Cons:
the earpiece feels weird when answering calls. Need some time to adjust to it I guess.
Speaker quality and volume. I feels it's kinda soft. But ok la. U gain some u lose some.
Everything is proprietary. Need to invest in Huawei's super charge, USB C.
Can't get the lockscreen to use my wallpaper app. I use this app call wallpaper for daily update of wallpaper. But the lockscreen seems like can't read from this app.

Anyone notice P30P pics are generally warmer? Possible due to RYYB?

But when I'm comparing P30 Pro with Note 9..Note 9 seems warmer, P30 pro seems colder..

If that is the case then i suspect Huawei have correctly  corrected its  default color temperature to a  cooler profile  that suit our Asian skin tone. I believe ,subjectively , this should look more natural.  The P30s is about photography and the skin tones of portrait /selfies/ friends and family shot the display screen  exhibits, may matter to Asians and especially the Chinese themselves who are Huawei biggest customers anyway .
Previously and still is , most smartphone maker including Huawei and the Note 9 have a warmer tone to cater for the white people needs. Maybe , most white people have dull pale skin tone and the warmer  color temperature  are designed to make them look better.

It could be down to which continent command the bigger market size and higher demand that makes Huawei took this shift. Its likely a commercial decision.

Anyway , most flagships should have their own color adjustment setting where user can choose their preferences other than default color temp.

Reason i had asked this, because i had google around, and found that, the rm1.1k difference in the pro and the normal one is just the camera.. And i had try this in Huawei store..
I quickly glance through this thread and most are like on the pro ? And any one bought from SenHeng with Plus one warranty ? What is the full price ?

That is what i taught.. the only plus point for me is.. camera and maybe battery.. rest.. i not sure lah.. That why i am asking, whether worth it for 1100 extra (or extra 50 per month for 24 months - i going to pay under ezpayment anyways).. just for additional feature that can be use by normal user which is camera.. For IP68 and IP53, is not a direct feature as it is just extra protection under water submerging.

And now, imagine what... i bring Mate 20 in the picture.. if i buy p30, is like i buy mate 20 at higher price..

Where u got mate 20 pro for 25XX.. I only see SenHeng for now due to extended warranty program and ezpayment...

Wait for upcoming Raya deals think there will be discount or free gifts. Then u can decide price wise which is more worth it.

If ur not into the whole 'p30 PRO' hype, m20pro seems a better choice for the price.
