Well, my advice is save more like few bucks and go buy at samsung center terus lah. If the seller is trusted also, we dont know what will happen during poslaju. Who knows they all throw away your parcel just like that.
I learned my lesson before kena scam buying iphone 4 online. Better spend 3k terus got the phone depan mata.
Much more expensive loh. I remember someone I know paid RM4k for her Note 8 at Samsung shop because she was too scared to buy online.I learned my lesson before kena scam buying iphone 4 online. Better spend 3k terus got the phone depan mata.

The box itself has the imei number. Dealer can register without opening the box. I don't know why they need to open the box. I bought note 9 for my wife from lazada two week ago. Even though can get cheaper option at shopee, all the shop mentioned they will open the box for warranty registration, so I opted to buy from lazada.
The bad thing ordering from lazada for me that living in East Malaysia, the waiting time for it to arrive is very painful. It took lazada more than a week to deliver it.
Samsung sent sms to inform the device warranty has activated 3 days before I received the phone, and also called the next day to confirm the purchase
I read a reply by a seller (not sure Lzd or Shopee) that he needs to power on the phone to activate the warranty. Exactly why they have to do it for buyers, I don't know. The bad thing ordering from lazada for me that living in East Malaysia, the waiting time for it to arrive is very painful. When I bought my Xiaomi phone online, it came in a sealed box and I did the warranty registration myself.
