thanks, I might try it. Before this what I do is I bought a neodymium magnet plate the size of 50 cent coin as replacement for besi plate. It works well but neodymium magnet is very powerful I scared it might affect phone's internal.

what's with the bump in note 9 price in shopee and elsewhere? usually RM2,2XX-RM23XX now RM24XX-RM25XX.

does anybody use Note 9 as a hotspot? how does the charging performance during tethering?

hi, my note 9 arrived a few days ago. After 2 days of using it, I found the signal for internet and hotspot is weak. I tried network reset and even factory reset but the problem persist.

When I put on a plastic casing, it is even worse. Usually my Digi Infinite line at one particular spot can get 27mbps (4g) but this is just half of that and even worse speed with casing on. Is such defect possible or is it something else and is it ground enough for refund?

I come from Oneplus 3T with metal case, I found Note 9 signal to be weaker for internet use. Problem exacerbated with casing on. I figure this is because signal get thru metal easier than glass. Now, I had to use Note 9 naked to get better signal. Plastic case proof to be not so good. Would metal case be better for signal reception? What is the solution?

Signal strength for my telco in my office is very good but when I test with Note 9 against my old Oneplus 3T, it still lose. In my home is where the situation is dire. Signal not good and imagine Naked Note 9 is sometimes spotty, if put Spigen casing it becomes almost unusable to watch Facebook LIVE.

What I do now is carrying 2 phones in each pocket. My old 3T tethering to my Note 9. It's not ideal but it's the best I can think to make of the situation. I do love the Note 9 and it's pen feature.

I use Digi Infinite 150, I tether to my PC at home everyday. Signal has to be top notch.

Yes keeping it, since I'm always using 2 sim card anyways, I'm using the 2 phones solution with 1 sim each.

I did upgrade from 3T, it's in my experience the 3T internet reception was better. I just want to go back to S Pen. I got imported set for RM2254 so yea it's worth it. Charger not as fast as dash charging but this time around the bigger battery will makes up for it. I missed 3 fingers screenshot, palm swipe is stupid.

how do I force an update? My Note 9 still outdated, stuck on version patch level 1 July 2019 and every time I checked for an update it says "Your software is up to date' although it is clearly not.

Nah UAE set, already tried smart switch but also flawed says version it's up to date.

is that like flashing? I don't want to take risk of bricking the phone or lose any current data.
