if you're really into it, check that the warranty is still intact..

Else, settle for the MyVi if you can barely afford that price.

mazda owners knew it for a long time already, but they choose to be silent about it..if everybody knows, later all mazda SC full of cars to be serviced....just like Honda SC..

mazda owners prefer some exclusivity laugh.gif

Buying car sometimes depends on lucky also.

I suggest you to go to Mazda SC to check the car servicing records. This year probably being the last year of the warranty period (5 years).

If you are in KL, find out any reliable third party workshop who can diagnose and service Mazda cars.

For a 5 years old car, expect to fork out some money to repair those worn out parts like absorbers, bearing, all the fluids like brake, engine oil, steering, coolant, etc

an older generation 2012 mazda 3 is cheaper, like 44k
for me m2 is too small. better get m3 instead.
golden rule for buying used car is that have some budget for repairs.

if possible, slowly find a direct owner from facebook, mudah.
then check the service manual for real mileage. find mechanic to check for accidents and so.

If you can't afford to maintain a Mazda 2 just stick to cheap national cars like Saga, Axia and Myvi. You won't be able to maintain a City or Vios also. Maintaining a Mazda is no different from maintaining other Japanese cars of the same segment.

M2 maintenance is possible higher than City or Vios due to the spare parts availability are less common in market than H & T brand.
