you may try to look up lumix tz110 by panasonic, price range is around your budget range.

its a good travel companion as pns camera. pretty much similar to rx100 series and yet cheaper.

I'd choose
Sony RX100 mk 3 for its flippy screen, bright lens, stabilisation and awesome pocketability

Ooh good budget to get a Sony DSC-RX100 (Mark III)! If you can afford the later versions (Mark 4-6) sure, you can buy those but they are expensivvvve. I had the original first version for a longgg time till it died recently cry.gif For my travels it has been absolutely perfect, used it more than my GoPro 3+ and Panasonic Lumix waterproof camera - "real" outdoors adventure cameras. Took images and videos underwater, in the mountains while rock climbing, in a crowded show, and pretty much everywhere. Fits in the pocket perfectly and even survived many drops in my outdoor adventures lol.

But I must say my favourite is the video quality and night shots of the camera when I capture the stars and milky way galaxy! My friend was still setting up the DSLR and fiddling with all the large bags to figure out nice settings and mine was already snapping away sweat.gif

Rather than point and shoot
better just buy phone that has few cameras (normal, ultrawide & zoom).
if u have budget, p30 pro will make u very hepi

i myself bought samsung s10e , as i dont need the telephoto lens as much.
Trip to japan, i brought with me a sony rx10 and dji osmo pocket.
both end up stay in bag only or left at hotel.
(even sold my osmo pocket oledi and hopefully rx10 soon)

less worry to carry more stuff, to charge more batteries, to lose stuff.
no hassle to transfer photo for sharing to SocMed.
for me convenience > quality (for SocMed)

if u require the best image quality.
i only had play with sony rx100 before, i'd vouch for that.
best is to go play around at camera shop and test.

good luck making your choice.
do update here tho

if you know of this offer, please give me a link to it - thanks in advance
