I am looking to get a pen tablet to get some experience with drawing digitally, since I recognise the advantages of using it for digital drawings given the better precision it offers. The product that I am considering is the Wacom Intous M (CTL-6100WL), because I felt that bigger is better for my hands compared to the smaller S model.

So I just want some opinions on if this is a good drawing tablet to start with? Based on my research, while they are certainly not as advanced as the Pro models, I am not looking into getting on account of not being a professional, and using it to draw as more of a hobby. Despite this, it looks like a good all-rounder product to start with. It also seems to have very good build quality from what I see, which is definitely good to have.

Thank you for reading.

Something I noticed about this tablet is that it does not have multi-touch functionality. Is multi-touch essential or is it only just for convenience?

Moreover, is a glove recommended for the tablet? Does it prevent accidental input without it, or is it only good to have so that it minimises the dirtiness from contact with it?

Thank you for reading.
