Hi, I would like to ask if the maxis fiber modem user replaceable

or only maxis is able to replace and reconfigure it?

No idea how it got fried together(overnight) with the surge protector + 13A fuse(surge protector) + MCB trip ( the powerline adapter(passthrough type) which was plugged directly into the wall didn't get fried at all not even the fuse built into the powerline adapter)

Nope. It will need to be replaced by Maxis. Call them and get it FOC. It has lifetime warranty.

Your connection is vdsl or fiber? If it's fiber, it's handled by TM fella. The ONU is actually part of TM's infra, however, u had to pay for the electricity to power the ONU or modem

Oddly when I used voltage tester, it shows that there’s currently going though the cable ( indicated by the picture on the 1st post )

Maxis just came and they swapped the power adapter and it works

They also said that the new power adapter would make some noise when its failing while the old one would suddenly die( when the new power adapter makes some noise they said that can call maxis already for replacement power adapter )
