then i think is if u attend for kelas D undang, you don't need to go for kelas B undang already. can straight go for exam to get license.

if u attend B already but next time want to go for D license, u need to go class D first.

My advice is whatever you choose to do, DO NOT buy Xiaomi Mijia M365 scooter. At almost 13kg, it is freaking heavy. Invest 1K more and get the one that easier to carry around, like the Glion scooter or get this bro https://myelectricscooterz.com/collections/...lectric-scooter

Checked the glion one, seems like jayacom is selling them:
https://www.jayacom.com.my/glion-gd215-ma-f...lectric-scooter

Wouldn't say it is lighter than mijia at 12.7kg which is similar to what you mention 13kg,

but the vertical self-standing feature is definitely a plus with its smaller support wheels to pull and push around while folded.

Down side is it doesn't have Bluetooth features like Mijia and lower in endurance at 25KM.

Gotta cater for the reliability as well,

Mijia is more widely adopted like ReaperX mentioned Europe & America have scooter rental services that used them,

Thus easier to find spare parts compared to other brands.

Currently MI Malaysia brought in a few units and they are listed on Lazada:
https://www.lazada.com.my/products/xiaomi-m...s552532698.html

Comes with 1 year warranty compared to other import supplier that provides only 1 month, more expensive tho but I still think it is worth it.

It still means you cannot ride a bike holding just a D licence, which you implied earlier. You need to get tested and be issued with B2 first.
Undang is just the theory part.

TS, just buy Xiaomi scooter with official local warranty if you are worried of after sales service. Otherwise you can also get from parallel imported units without official warranty.

You can also buy trolley wheel and attach on M365 for mobility while folded.

Below pic for reference, not mine.

UPDATE:

I manage to get to my workplace on the scooter without problems,

just some weird stares from other commuters unsure.gif

the hand carry part is the pain in the butt, especially going up/down stairs doh.gif

guess I'll be using escalators & elevators more often now hmm.gif

otherwise all the time I get to roll 1 wheel on flat ground. rclxms.gif

overall experience is still quite a hassle, but i think ill get use to it smile.gif

the last stretch before reaching my workplace lobby was the best, cool2.gif

looking forward to use it end of the day when I ride from workplace lobby to the station and from end station back to my house rclxm9.gif

XiaoMi/MiJia M365.

In malaysia they are commonly called Mi Electric Scooter, just make sure it is the M365 model instead of M187 wink.gif
