my company uses this.. 3 at sites, my boss's sekolah tahfiz just bought this one too..

Few comments:

Good - Price
Bad - Maintenance price, quality.. baru beli, sudah masuk workshop.. clutch plate lah, gearbox lah..

And the comments also highlighted from our neighboring sites, not just ours..

My opinion, better to get 2nd hand nissan urvan, hiace etc..

Ya more to maintenance cost issue. You win at buying price, but bleed at maintenance.

And name like jinbei, why not name it sun wu kong?

My company uses this Van called Foton. Quite spacious...Not sure about reliability though.

If one day company want to sell it off I wanna buy it and convert to motorhome.

Was seriously considering this, as was cheaper than a Kia Pregio. In the end, bought a second hand Kia Pregio cos it was very well maintained. Sold the Pregio after 4 years, still working perfectly, and any tire shop also can service the van.

I service my trucks at the same workshop as a certain tours company; they use China-made vans. One day I chatted to one of their drivers. He said the China van has higher passenger capacity, but "kepala sakit" because of frequent breakdowns. He misses the Hiaces they used to have.

Spoke to an owner whom I met at a workshop - he owned the model which looks like Toyota. Parts are difficult to find in non authorised workshops. So, he had some Toyota parts modded to fit.

Anyway TS, what are you planning to do with it? How often will u be driving it?

Our vans are used to ferry workers to and fro site.. everyday non stop, including saturday sunday.. so, with that kind of works, i'd say there are better options..

1) Not all workshops can repair/service it..
2) Not all workshops have ready stocks spare part
3) If that workshop is able to repair it, expect waiting list up to months to get the spare parts..
4) Expect to make friends with the CAM service centre as you'll see them more often.. icon_idea.gif
5) As usual, /k standard reply - GodVan no RV.. whistling.gif whistling.gif

And does nv200 drives like a car because of similiar length with normal car?
Unlike C22.
