I'm really wondering when it will be available in our market, will it be in these two weeks? I actually plan to make it as a birthday present for my bestie whom has been checking out Airpods for sometimes. So, if it can be out within these two weeks will be great.

I'm quite thankful that I didn't buy it last week else I will end up with a previous generation thingy.

I have been using Jabra Elite 65T for a year and absolutely love this kind of wireless earphones but bestie is an Apple fan, so wanna get her the Airpods instead to match with her iPhone and iPad.

Same here, my iPhone with lightning port and my MacBook with a 3.5mm jack is irritating the hell out of me, and no I don't want to carry that flimsy 3.5mm to lightning adapter because that's just more stuff to carry.

No sign of the availability at all.

I finally ordered from Apple SG and my friend will bring it back for me next weekend. After conversion, it's more expensive than MY pricing but what to do as I'm not sure when it will be available here. My bestie is a foreigner and she will be in KL for just two weeks so I really cannot afford to take the risk of waiting for MY release. Around 900 bucks after conversion, I got the one with the wireless charging case.

I will upgrade to 2 since the talktime is much better. My current Airpods only lasts for 1.5 hours of talktime on full charge.

Honestly, I haven't tried the Airpods on my own, so I cannot say much to it.
Elite 65T is not bad, and can adjust the equaliser according to your needs. There are plenty of reviews online for 65T vs Airpods.

Bro how much you bought it for? And from where? I’ve called up most of the stores jalna valley and it seems to be out of stock be it AirPods first or second gen. Also contemplating to get from lazada but some goes as low as 200+ which looks fishy.

Airpods second gen are not yet available in Malaysia.

For first gen, I heard during Lazada sales, some managed to get it at very cheap price. Just get it from Lazada Apple Store or Mac Studio.

Until now still no sign of it, and no date..

Yeah, I contacted few shops earlier before decided to buy from Apple SG. All of them said, no ETA yet and could be by end of April.

My SG colleague was saying there is also stock shortage in SG, she and other colleagues cannot buy now. I was quite lucky to get it within 2 working days.

It's worldwide shortage. I opted for normal case and placed order from US Apple store on 10 April. Est delivery 19-26 April but still not shipped yet until today. It'll take much longer should I choose wireless charging case

I have tried both. IMO jabra sounds better but airpods are more comfortable

It's because the "half in ear" design compared to full "in ear". I prefer earpods/airpods design to the others. Those silicone tips just make my ears painful after wearing for more than a certain time.

I have both AirPods 1 and XM3, planning to get the 2nd Gen AirPods when its available.

The AirPods can be used for traveling with limited space / weight or even workouts. The XM3 are used for office, home when indulging music and air travels.

Its beneficial to have both lol

Not sure the shop but that’s still high price for AirPods 1. Same price as on Lazada. I think AirPods 1 should be around rm520-550, anything more better go for the 2nd gen, as price difference not much.

There’s a review by iPhonedo on YouTube, he said this was not good. AirPods are better.
