My Avira root kit scanner found lots of hidden objects
all of them, ALU.exe. I asked the Avira forum guy, what is it. He thinks its safe and its an Asus Live Update. The Acer tech support (for my computer) also said the same thing. But where is the file stored, can't locate it even after "unhide" files. What do you guys think? This post has been edited by tigana: Mar 19 2010, 08:27 PM |

for rootkit problems, try gmer from gmer.net
it does a quick scan, if found anything it will remove rootkit. easy peasy |
