And so we say goodbye to the 10.5" iPad Pro...

Yeah, it has the same form factor but better spec than the old iPad Pro 10.5-inch those who have bought it previously will cry now hahaha.

Luckily they didn’t put Face ID or a USB C port into it - I’d be crying then!

Yeah hahaha.

But at least design wise iPad Pro is still a lot nicer. The price pays. Haha.

I am more excited on the iPad mini, becos I have 1 to 3 except 4 the laminated display one. Finally I have chance to own one now.

The old iPad Pro 10.5 still wins in terms of quad speaker (the new iPad Air has only two near the lightning connector) and also 120Hz Promotion display.
The new iPad Air only wins in terms of processor.

dun forget also price size, it is a lot higher for the old ipad pro 10.5-inch.

and A12 chip is significantly better than A10X...

lol. Yes if they just recently buy. Unless buy even before 2018 ipad come out, no need regret lor.

They can’t put too much into this iPad Air otherwise no one would buy an iPad Pro already

For me owning the older iPad Pro using it for Netflix and YouTube, the quad speaker is really impressive and somehow is a must have feature for me for entertainment now.

But ya it makes sense for Apple to cut corners on the speakers otherwise no one would have bought the latest iPad Pro anymore.

True. Also, the covers and cases for these 10.5" iPad Pro won't look so good on the new Air coz there are cut out for four speakers where else the Air only has two, so accessories makers will have to clear the old cases and make new ones?

those the difference in speaker any difference in term of performance?

I'm sure there is, if you consider it's a A12 Bionic vs an older A10X Fusion in the older iPad Pro, but I think in normal day to day usage, you won't be able to feel much difference as the A10X is also quite a beast.

actually given the amount of price tag lower, the trade-off is quite worthwhile as a lot of people may not be so concern at all.

both the ipad mini and ipad air (2019) come with 3GB of ram which is not bad. haha.

so performance wise is the same as iPhone XS or XR.

If you can sacrifice the latest processor, this then is a good buy still
