QUOTE(tarm @ Mar 20 2019, 08:22 AM) good point on mifi, plus with its huge battery (compared to phone) and ios efficient power management.... it would be a great mifi device. ... and now u r making my color decision more difficult Black border helps to “reduce” the bezel size I m getting it solely for reading as iphone max not big enough and ipad air way to big. Mini jus the perfect size and can sometimes do some doodling. Perfect

After testing both mini and pro 11” at store, cant decide which to get..i like the new squarish industrial design of the new pro and it looks ‘small’ than my old ipad. The mini looks dated but so portable as reading device mainly, but browsing sites or reading books noticeably not as smooth as pro 120Hz refresh rate but not a deal breaker. Really dilemma dunno which to get..probably will wait for WWDC and see got mouse support or not or some other features that tip me over to get the pro

QUOTE(dikae @ Apr 26 2019, 01:40 AM) It's actually easy, if u need a small and portable device, go with the mini....if ur doing games etc the mini performs well too...if you think the 120hz is important and don't mind/need bigger screen, go with the pro... I find it harder to choose between the Pro 11' and 12.9' actually I had a 12.9” v1 before and its a bit unwieldy its like having a laptop but half the capability ended up hardly use it haha Interesting to know why for u its hard comparing the two, is it for laptop replacement?

QUOTE(un_id @ Apr 26 2019, 03:07 AM) price also a huge different. mini is small amd having the exact same OS and can do exact same thing as the 11” pro. of course everyone will be spoiled with the smoothness of ipad pro. but the fact is that is just visual. real life experience, ipad mini doesnt lag or hang. but, if money is not the issue, and you think bigger size better, no doubt just grab the iad pro 11”. definitely no regret for sure Good point on the price. But the pro does ‘worth’ the extra moolah for the design and features (for me, that is) I ve decided to wait for WWDC then.
