Hey all, I'm really curious about your honest experience taking epidural for child birth.
Can please share your experience? Still deciding whether to take or not.

For my first born, I opted for epidural because too painful when nearing to labor time.
It helped a lot during the delivery, but I felt backpain for several months after that. 2nd and 3rd baby, I decided not to take epidural any more. All went just fine for me |

Thanks for the reply!
Can I know how severe is the back pain you were feeling? Is it like aching pain or sore until hard to move kind of pain? |

not so serious until cannot move, just normal lingering pain that doesn't want to go away.
i think the needle was too big hahaha. perhaps it is only my situation, would not be the same as others. some people say, back pain is always there, epidural or not. 1 thing I can be sure, doesn't need to go for epidural for child delivery. without epidural, I can give birth much faster. again, this should be case by case thing, just sharing my experiences. |
