 TM Unifi charges, TM Unifi charge when troubleshoot issue?

Hi,

Recently i have called up TM Unifi to come to my home to troubleshoot the unifi slowness problem. Apparently i notice they charge RM 53 (+ SST) just to come to home and troubleshoot issues. Previously it was free.... this is 1st time i call tm unifi person to come and troubleshoot.

Anyone experience that?

It's free only if the found an error/fault at their part during the troubleshoot.

If none, then the charges apply

This has been there for sometime and normally they say why they charge is because its customer issue. Unless its hardware issue they will waive the 53 bucks charges. I feel mostly the issue on their end so need to argue a lot. Sometimes technician come and reboot router or change router location. Charged 53 bucks. Better to read up on their FAQ documents before asking them to drop by.

Best practice is to check from your side first.
Sometimes slowness and no connectivity is only due to the fiber is bent. Straighten it will solve the issue.

my case lagi terror, no technician even turned up when i complained about streamyx being very slow thru 100. the call agent rebooted their server side and seems back to normal, but by the end of the month i received the same rm53 extra charges.

yup. AFAIK, the customer needs to sign a form from the site visit technicians then only this rm50 fee can be chargeable, and no technician ever came to my house, let alone me signing any documents.

either TM is so damn broke now that they have to simply charge customer who are not aware or their pack of hyenas sub-contractors are really milking TM dry by forging support claims.

anyway, TS do lodge a complain and see how it goes.

They will charge if they need to settle the issue by going inside your house.
If they settle from outside the house, no charge.
