lol guys. I'll be heading out to UMS also. Parents say give it a try first. If don't like only come back apply for monash or something. Sians, I read the things to bring and stuff. Do i really need to bring trackbottoms? =/ And wuts the rule about jeans and stuff?

just bring trackbottom. it won't eat up much space in your luggage also. who knows you might need it for your kokum? you can wear jeans on semi formal day... in KK i'm not sure how many people don't wear formal on formal day... but in labuan, i should say most students wear it. anyway, for me... i don't really wear very formal... just something like....... smart casual?? i hate wearing too formal...

but i heard from some seniors they actually do spot check during ur lectures to see whether u're following the attire?

btw, for those who are going to register on this sunday, have u guys applied for ptptn online? bcoz some of my frens who are going other uni they have bought the pin number and start applying dy..
i guess UMS students are applying for 2nd batch is it?

if possible, do start to apply now...cos most of the time, the 1st batch ppl will be the least ppl!!!most ppl are not fully prepared for the procedure, so if u could prepare all the ptptn stuff b4 going to ums, pls do so....

got spotcheck meh?never really notice..didnt get caught or c any1 get caught b4...rumours perhap?or i'm just plain lucky...haha

lol i've heard of people getting saman bcos of attire before(don't be so skema looking when pak guard come do gangster face)
don't worry about it for SKTM students cos most students all wear jeans wor
for bussiness im sorry but you people from what i've heard lecturer gives marks for attire ~_~

on regards of eating maggi for one week this is part and parcel of uni life
My chinese ex rummate eat maggi everyday...
well i'm not so good with saving money to begin with hahaha.
either spend or put in my mom unit trust which i can't take out T_T

when come to uni, sure can't avoid from eating maggi... but i try not to eat it if possible... which is quite difficult since it's very easy to feel hungry if only eat biscuit and drink milo/coffee...

wow~!... eat maggie for one week~... that's crazy man....
yeah i also try to avoid from eating maggie... if i eat maggie for 3 days consecutively i'll feel like throwing up....
dunno why, maybe my body can accept too many pack of maggie... T_T... which hv caused me spending a lot on food... sad.gif ...
n 1B restaurants are damn expensive, but still dunno why still tend to go there... hmm.gif ....

btw, any senior that know about the room for sem 3, how r they goin to inform u... is it thru SMP, or how....?

Oh no.. What should I do? I just received an email from Kinabalu Daya Hotel telling me that the standard room is fully booked. I am now clueless. Where else can I stay? Any suggestion from seniors or anyone else? I am going to stay there from Friday till next Monday. The room rate should be around 100-150.

why would u wanna stay at hotel when ur gonna stay at the hostel during msm?ur parents need not to go actually,there's nothing much they can do..in my opinion, its time for u to grow up u'll hav to leave ur family eventually, why not take tis opportunity?

haha... there's no need to care what others think i guess... but seriously, i think it's not usual for family to come along especially for those students from penisular since it's quite far away... and 5 bags?? wow!!! seriously, you don't have to bring that much stuff... it'll be a burden when you need to move your stuff at the 2nd sem...
