Guys.. is it possible to shoot beautiful pictures using a DC? Frm what i saw in the Photo Gallery most of them are using DSLR and rarely i can see any post frm a DC user.

Are DC only suitable for casual photography?
Im a DC user, i own a TZ-3. But i cant seem 2 find the right setting to shoot nice photos. Any advices?

Hmm from what i know .. nice photo is based on skills ... quality photo is based on camera ...

For example ... DC can get good compo pics .. but maybe not as sharp as DSLR

while,
DSLR can take super clear pcitures of bears with lens cap ... which has no meaning tongue.gif

So depends on what're you taking about hehe .. hope u get what i'm trying to say

no worries smile.gif well i'm speaking based on experience only .. coz im like u also .. i juz got my dslr 2 weeks ago ..

For me .. photography and normal taking pics ( like outings , take pics of ur fren and all ) is 2 different thing .. photography u need time , or like you go out JUST for photography ... not like casual .. i go shopping .. see something nice then snap ..

If u're looking for easy and compact and casual .. i would say get DC

If u're serious into photography ... like me .. get DSLR smile.gif It has alot of settings and stuff to play/combine with to take a good quality picture ... doesn't matter if ure a newbie .. i for one haven't touched camera before. .. i nvr had DC before .. tongue.gif straight into DSLR ... and i learn from website and ofcoz my gallery in the gallery section tongue.gif I'm happy that the pro's are willing to teach me here ...

So make your choice !! smile.gif Photography u need time and dedication ... RM 2k - 3k is not an ammount u can play with .. unless ure rich tongue.gif

oh yea this is so true !! I bought my cam from ebay .. when it arrived i was like "holy crap" i got a fake camera ... it really feels like those "display" fake type of camera ... it's sort of plastic-ish =.=" very light ... but once u attach the lens .. then it will be better ... still very light for a DSLR imho
