The Master Chief’s epic journey covers six Halo games, collected here in a single integrated experience built for PC. Whether you’re a long-time fan or are meeting the Master Chief for the first time, The Master Chief Collection is the definitive Halo gaming experience.
Near the end of the video before (and after) UNSC Grafton was about to blow that Covenant spire to smithereens, I noticed some of the helis (UH-144 Falcon) flying around looked incomplete. Still a test build, tho, but quite polished at this stage overall.
In the spirit of openness and sharing more information, we want to take some time and discuss MCC flighting and why the Halo: Reach PC “FireFlight”, which was originally planned for July, did not happen yet.
The short answer is that we chose to hold back FireFlight due to severe blocking bugs. While we continue working to address and solve those bugs, the challenges proved insurmountable to release the flight in July. Our goal when preparing for flights is to ensure that the experience hits the necessary quality bar to deliver an effective and successful flight for both Halo Insiders as well as 343 Industries. While we strive to ensure we run our flights on a timely basis, ensuring the effectiveness of the flight must take priority.
However, we want to provide everyone with the long answer, too. Today, we’ll share some insights into how flighting is handled, where development stands with respect to flighting, what work we have left to do, and why (while unfortunate) the decision to delay a flight is made in the best interest of our players and the game. Before we dive into development details, let’s look at what the process of bringing a flight to Halo Insiders looks like.
I've just started playing the game after I downloaded it yesterday via the Microsoft Store.
Played pretty smoothly on my rig, but didn't find the crouch while moving part in the above post's link to be an issue. I'll still welcome the fix if it is implemented in the next patch later.
One thing that I noticed is that the subtitles did not appear for conversations during gameplay in the single player campaign. It does appear fine during cutscenes, tho.
No issues with the game. Just felt that for an Xbox 360 game the graphic shouldn't really look like PS2 game for Halo Reach. Still liking it tho.
At first I thought all the Halo game was released when the game was playable, turns out it's just Reach for now rip
After doing a quick Google search, the remaining games will be released in chronological order throughout 2020 according to the Express, quoting Microsoft's statement there.
Looks like we'll have to wait a while, so just enjoy playing other games or do your own thing in the meantime. For me, I also bought the complete package as well and still currently playing Halo: Reach. Only reached Chapter 4 as I don't have a lot of free time these days.
Is anyone able to play multiplayer? I keep getting dropped from online matches because of "connection interrupted". Does my "NAT type: Strict" have anything to do with it? streamyx port-forwarding doesnt work.
