QUOTE(longinusshortleg @ Mar 15 2019, 09:31 AM) Hi Sifu, I'm feeling random pain in my shoulder joint after an intense game of badminton. Act pro smash too hard. Is there any doctor or massage therapist of chiropractor can diagnose and treat this injury?? Who should I see?? I love badminton and I want to play again!! i thinks your shoulder's problem is cause by 2 reasons: 1. RACKET , - cheap racket / low quality racket cannot filter out the vibration, then reflect to your shoulder. - when i used low end racket, my shoulder feel pain after 2 games; but after change to high end racket (Apacs/Fleet above RM300) can play till my badminton seasons end. 2. Smash Technic, - using wrong technic will injured your shoulder too. hopefully this will help.

if the pain is coming from ur should near ur shoulder blade, its quite permanent d due to wrong smashing technique. Something to do with nerve dislocation. I have that problem as well.

It's not because you smashed too hard but probably you smashed the shuttlecock at the wrong part of the net. Your energy payload was not completely directed to the shuttlecock and your shoulder had to absorb it.

Throw away your racket & get a good one. Racket is the most common cause of shoulder injury. Also don't get a super heavy head stiff racket if your arm isn't used to it. Get something even balance with flexible frame.
