Hello everyone, is there anyone of u know how long the working contract will be at Flyscoot as a cabin crew. I'm really curious with it because I've searched to find some information on the google but I still did not found the actual answer. I just know some of airlines only such as Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia the working contract will be 2 years and Singapore Airlines 5 years. So if you're working or ex-crew at Flyscoot, u may share it with us. Thank you so much those who reply it, your comment will be appreciated so much.

That is including all allowances, may consider high if you compare to fresh grad but it is so low compared to any professional jobs

Their basics is peanuts

Ya it’s their choice but certainly at the expense of their future earnings.

I see law, engineering grads who gave up their profession to be cabin crew then regretted later in life when all their peers are already far ahead in careers, while they are still stuck or start from scratch.

I must say that if you are determined and have a decent career, one can EASILY travel the world without being a waiter

But u can get a head start earnibg more than what fresh grad earn. Get to see the world, not getting stuck at a 9-5 job and also dont need to face the jam.

2-3 years is nothing in the long run and being in a top notch service industry for a few years will give you the emotional and mental maturity to go further in career vs those hikomori nerds who never leave their comfort zone.

yup, mostly cabin crew jobs are not permanent. but certain airlines yes they do, such as Qatar they got permanent crew and contract as well. About KLM maybe you saw senior cabin crew that time, they have been working there for a very long time and keep renew their contract every 5 years. u see Malaysia Airlines there's a lot uncle auntie are still working until they reach 60yo. biggrin.gif

become a cabin crew u can travel free to any countries that u dreamt and get a free ticket every year (depends on airlines). yup it's just a waiter job on air but u can earn 10X more than a normal waiter. such as if you're working at Singapore with SIA. u can reach $3,500 can be more (almost 15k converted in MYR) in a month.

yup their basic like a peanut, that's why you have to fly more and more till get 200hours in a month. so your allowances would be increased compared to the crew flew with 200hours below.

be cabin crew only happy until you get grounded (no more allowances or risk benefits) or when you want to change jobs

basically no one will even offer you half of what you get as a cabin crew if you decide to leave the industry

so if you wanna become a cabin crew, make sure you keep fit and handsome / pretty til you're 55 (or you spanar a loaded datuk from first class flights)

HAHAHAHA. is not easy to get the job with SQ especially cabin crew. if you only have SPM, u need working experience related to the job that u applying. if you are fresh graduate then u can easily apply it without any experience needed. so I plan to work with Scoot first which is under Singapore Airlines Company too.

Worth trying though. The minimum requirements seem to be only SPM. You don't have any working experience?

for guys bro, really not worth it

they want the kind of guy that looks and behaves very intelligent and calm, brought up by middle class or higher

if you give them the impression that you are even slightly poorfag, slightly selekeh, body posture slightly off, they will say byebye

this sort of standard, you can become pilot in Malaysia already.

it is a group of 8 people in a room
where 3 judges is in front of you

once you all sit down, they will ask a question and each one will response accordingly to that question

after finish, the person-in charge will give back the application for those who failed and while those who pass, will proceed to check their height and weight before proceed to 2nd stage. smile.gif

That is including all allowances, may consider high if you compare to fresh grad but it is so low compared to any professional jobs

Their basics is peanuts

Well this is a waiter job, not professional

But u can get a head start earnibg more than what fresh grad earn. Get to see the world, not getting stuck at a 9-5 job and also dont need to face the jam.

It could be a good start, but it not a long term plan

yup their basic like a peanut, that's why you have to fly more and more till get 200hours in a month. so your allowances would be increased compared to the crew flew with 200hours below.
*
200hrs a month for sure very tiring.

Airasia also got. i guess these sotong" are sweet talker so many passengers like to use their plane bcse the crew mostly friendly and not arrogant. so the passengers satisfied than they only saw that crew in front of them only smiling without saying anything. ya maybe who knows.

6 stages? Lol thats really an exam. U tried before?
*
nope. I have many friends working with Airasia. These stages that u need to go through:-
- Height check
- Document check
- Catwalk/Scar-Tatoo check/Self Introduction
- English test
- Group activity
- Interview - 2 to 1

then, when u pass all the stages above. they will ask u to do a medical check. if u have passed everything congratulations to u. u will receive an email called for training at AirAsia academy as soon as possible.

Depends also lah... I used to work with this Engineering manager at Tan Chong Auto

To my surprise when I asked him where did he work before join Tan Chong he said he was with MAS as steward for 5 years

and now switch industry to automotive still doing good.

My uncle ex-MAS, later joined insurance. He is doing very, very well.

And he met some of his clients when he was in MAS.
