When i was doing my research
I was contemplating to apply for this card
I already have car hire purchase under affin

Correction, i think ppl coverage doesnt confine to SEA only
U get heathrow as well for example

Plus the income requirement is generous at only >6667/month
Plus no annual fee (12 swipes only)

My only problem is i need my supplementary card to go inside ppl as well but this card doesnt allow

So thats my take

Heres my research for card that allow supp to access PPL
(<100k per annum category)

Citibank PM
Rhb WMC/VS
Ambank VS
Bank rakyat explorer MC

Of course each CC is difference in what ppl u can assess..
Term etc.. Like ambank need to spend rm500 before ot after visit.. Rhb and bank rakyat only for local ppl.. Etc etc

Affinbank t&c is abit sucks
U have to spend rm2000 that month or rm24k anually to make PPL access "free" which is totally doable
However it is unlikely that u would want to use this CC as ur main CC

with the new Ambank revision

my new option is to try applying for CIMB world travel
wife can enter PPL as supp
but downside got RM600 AF with I can never waive as i dont spend >60k on the card

gone are the days that I die2 dont want to pay AF

TLDR version.

basically it says you subscribed/paid for 99 USD (promo 29 USD) for 1 year subscription

whenever your flight delay for more than 60 minutes, you are entitled for lounge access while waiting for the flight

in general (not specific to any card/bank), does the yearly lounge quota refreshed on new year (1 jan)
or does it follow your card anniversary date

and does it differ from bank to bank or pretty much standard

hi guys
quick question regarding lounges for CIMB Travel Platinum or World MC

i apply in last quarter (oct-dec 2023) and has fullfilled the spending requirement for that quarter (RM6k)
my card is the Travel World so I suppose to get 3x lounges access

so when can I use the lounge
do I need to wait for some sort of confirmation like sms or something
or just enter and the CC statement later will adjust to 0 (zero) for the lounge entry

anyone with experience can help to answer

Went there while waiting for my flight to UK last month
I had nasi lemak rendang and americano
Taste was ok, not bad but not super great either

Just seats quite limited and their staff doesnt allow you to go to the bigger seating area (which is saperated from the main cashier/kitchen place)

Go to PPL if you can, but if u already in satellite building, nothing wrong with flight club signature

I didnt know this.. both me and my wife use our own card to get just 1 meal set when supposedly we could just use 1 card to get 2 meal sets

btw how do you claimed the arrival wrap/nasi lemak?
just showed your (earlier) departure receipt that you got upon entry days before when you depart??

when my wife and I went there
we used each of our card to redeem 1 set each

they dont even care to tell us
